The renowned Lurisia spring water takes its name from a small Italian mountain village. In 1917, miners discovered the Fonte Santa Barbara spring near the Alps, at an elevation of 1,460 meters above sea level, with its exceptionally soft and pure water. In 1940, the Lurisia Water Center was opened at the same location, where high society could enjoy the healing effects of this special spring water.

Lurisia water contains significantly fewer minerals and salts than other mineral waters—which gives it a noticeably milder taste. Its low mineral content makes it ideal for everyday drinking.
