It’s perfect as an aperitif, whetting the appetite and preparing the palate for what’s to come. It pairs especially well with fish dishes, such as grilled or steamed white fish, whitefish, sea bass, or salmon with a light citrus sauce. It’s also a great companion to seafood—shrimp, scallops, and oysters bring out the wine’s freshness and delicate effervescence. On the sweeter side, it perfectly complements a lemon meringue pie, where the wine’s lively acidity balances the dessert’s sweetness and highlights its citrus notes.
