Birra Menabrea is a classic light lager with a beautiful golden color and a full-bodied, long-lasting head. The beer is brewed from the finest ingredients—malt, brewer’s corn, hops, and pure water—and according to a traditional bottom-fermentation recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation.
With an alcohol content of 4.8% vol., this is a refreshing yet flavorful drink. The aroma is soft and balanced, the flavor is full-bodied and rounded, the bitter aftertaste is moderate, and the balance is noticeably refined. Best enjoyed at a temperature of 6–8 °C.
Birra Menabrea pairs perfectly with pizza and white meats (pork, veal, chicken), as well as with creamier cheeses and vegetable dishes. It’s also an ideal choice for seafood and shellfish.
