Description
Cerignola olives are named after the town of Cerignola in the Apulia region. There are several legends about their origin—according to one, they date back to Roman times, when soldiers carried “orhiide,” or olives, with them on long marches. After the banquets ended, the pits were thrown away, and that is how the tradition of growing Cerignola olives began.
Cerignola olives are famous for their exceptionally large size, meaty texture, and delicate yet full-bodied flavor. They are perfect for serving on an antipasto platter, alongside appetizers, or as gourmet snacks on their own. They also complement cheese and meat selections and are an excellent addition to salads and Mediterranean dishes.
The product is packaged in 100% recyclable packaging, which keeps the olives fresh while helping to protect the environment.
